here’s a ‘meh’ clip of explosions in the sky performing “welcome, ghosts” at the houston free press summerfest this past weekend. not that it’s a surprise, but [personally] explosions in the sky blew everyone out the water. i’ve only seen em one other time, but the outdoor/nighttime/breeze/houston’s downtown skyline really worked in their favor this time around. nobody was making any noise and everyone was just sitting on the hillside of eleanor tinsley park listening to them play.
in any case, i really hope there are more of these to come. i’m positive that this one came off without a hitch, seems like there were 4k people there at any given time.
all of a sudden, i miss everyone.
