so with the release of beggars this past tuesday, thrice released a download card to access five unreleased tracks as an incentive to buy an album that leaked three months ago.
one of the songs was their cover of the beatles’ ‘helter skelter,’ which they have played on previous tours. anyway, NME has posted this cover for all of you to download free of charge.

Cool track, but beggars, for me, was a step down from the leaping and bounding progression of the past two records. I mean, they’re settling into something…safe, I guess, that they people would be satisfied with. Not that it’s not great, I loved it… my socks just weren’t knocked off, though.
