decent performance from the two of em. these guys have a good track record together though. i’ve liked pretty much every collaboration and i hope jay-z follows through with taking jeezy on tour for the sole purpose of playing the ‘put on remix.’

two new joints from the game today. both are official singles from the r.e.d. album. i must say, ol boy has dumbed the fuck down. L.A.X. was one of my favorite albums last year, period. i loved pretty much every song on it, but both of these fall flat. krazy features the idiot of the year, gucci mane, and is produced by timbaland – definitely a plus. “big money” has a lackluster cool + dre beat and is the most commercially uninspired shit i’ve ever heard from the game.

new single from a compilation album called victory that dj khaled will bludgeon to death with ad-libs and simultaneously take credit for. this is a huge roster for the track, and it’s a bit awkward at times, but this is dope. lovin’ ursher on this. i gotta say though, khaled has gotta start working with a different production team. the runners are the biggest abusers of the snare on fruity loops. please find a new beat to work with.

Last week, Three/21 shot the dynamic VA duo, The Clipse and Killa Cam in NYC for their latest track “Popular Demand” or “Popeyes” (for short) off the upcoming album “Til The Casket Drops”. Despite a few crazy moments such as the NYPD trying to shut us down and blacklist us about 4 times in 4 seperate locations. Luckily Popeyes came to our rescue and let us shoot Cam inside during business hours in front of a whole bunch of surprised customers. Shout out to Steven Victor and the entire Re-Up Gang squad for holding us down. Come holla at ya uncle…

taken from their upcoming a coin for the well ep, fan death are back with a new song and video for “reunited”. in the clip, dandi, looking shockingly like papa smurf, has red truck break down next to a red pay phone, where she instructs marta, via wes anderson-esque subtitles, to meet her halfway. the ensuing journey is peppered with a multitude of pop music icons as well as the most iconic red bike and red bow-tie wearing comic to grace our presence in the last 30 years.
