the walkmen – blue as your blood (2010)

stereogum’s got another new track from the walkman’s upcoming album lisbon. “blue as your blood” feels a bit like a horse moseying into town before hamilton leithhauser’s triumphantly bellowy voice and some powerful cymbal crawshes blow the chorus out of the water and into familiar romantic walkman territory.

lisbon is out september 14.
