this isn’t a brand new drop, but it’s way, way too good not to post. i was put onto the stuyvesants by the fine people at the brooklyn circus, who have impeccable taste in music as well as style. this is a collection of twenty-something instrumental tracks put together to embody the spirit of ’70s nyc by producer allan cole and record collector darien victor birks. i don’t think i could possibly recommend this one enough (and it’s free!). dilla fans especially be warned of the dopeness you’re about to vibe with.
