even though folarin’s been all up on the MMG jock as of late, it’s good to see him branching back out to his older material. his latest visual finds us soaked in weed-smoke for his vibey anthem from more about nothing. word on the street is, his new album will be out later out this year.

houston’s own all over this shit. killa kyleon drops a new track produced by the bizness, with hook and bridge duties from jack freeman, who in smoothest of fashions, does his thing. for those of you who might’ve missed it, go grab jack freeman’s (he’s the guy on a few niceguys songs, and what not) most recent ep, dark liquor, which can be downloaded for free.

Well, well, well. We have finally reached The NBA Finals, and we have ourselves a rematch from 2006. There are a few players that have remained from those squads, but the dynamic of each team has changed. In what looks to be a great matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat.
Now, there are going to be those who absolutely hate Miami or love them. There is really no middle, but I will attempt to find that middle ground.

one of many, many generations greatest artists and poets passed away yesterday as a result of falling ill after a recent trip to europe. other than that, very little is known about the cause of death, but he is survived by his wife and daughter. he’s influenced many of the artists you listen to today and has put out decades of thought-provoking and culture-challenging spoken word poetry, blues and much more.

i guess this is our official ‘whif’ of TM103. it’s supposedly done, so my obvious inference is that these tracks (a whole bunch of em, at that) are the songs that didn’t quite make the cut for whatever reason. doesn’t say much about the caliber about these songs, but i’m sure there are a few gems on here. neat features, too – which you can see below the jump.

i’m not exactly sure why they used an alternate version of the song for the video. to be honest, i didn’t watch more than 30 seconds of this shit because of how disappointed i am with the song choice. the original version was close to being my favorite song of 2010, and i just don’t want to ruin that luster.

just caught this online, and i can’t act like i’m not interested in seeing this. sure, it’s a lot like funny people and any other ‘straight faced,’ dark comedy, but my man crush on joseph gordon levitt definitely edges this one out a little bit. not to mention anna kendrick and seth rogen kick the appeal up a few notches as well.

jimmy’s neil young impression is, aside from hilarious, pretty spot on. so it makes total sense that graham nash and david crosby would swing by to support jimmy as he wails away his rendition of the miley cyrus club classic “party in the usa.” nash sure seems to be into it, huh?
