my man thurogood’s been hard at work on his debut LP, brass knuckle sandwich, which he plans on releasing this year. the appetizer was exactly that, as christolph/todd (of niceguys fame) produces a lush arrangement for thuro’s gritty delivery and head-spinning hook. start hoppin’ on this train now, as brass knuckle sandwich should be quite the conversation topic in a few months.

well, considering 2011 has been a bust for pixar, 2012 is proving to host a worthy contribution. cars 2 was a mistake from the inception of the idea (the first one sucked, i don’t care what anyone says). brave, however, seems to be taking pixar into a road never traveled.
