after a chance meeting at this year’s sxsw, of which blake was everywhere and vernon was reforming deyarmond edison, the two decided a collaboration was in order. a teaser-tweet from @jamesblake later, we now have “fal creek boys choir,” featuring vernon’s familiar falsetto over james blake’s fractured and melancholy non-grooves.
