we live in amazing times. the times where one of my favorite metal bands of all time are releasing a live concert experience in 3D fucking imax. nimrod antal (predators) is at the director’s helm for this, and it’s a bit corny, but there will be a narrative attached to it. i’m not so much involved with it as i am that the band will be performing cool shit like MASTER OF PUPPETS, but you get the jist. if you need more info, check out a press release and mark your calendars for 9/27.
here’s a teaser for the new anchorman movie yall. happy easter.
Weworemasks’ sunbear joined with our friend Matthew Cooper for an advance screening of the rebooted Star Trek franchise’s first sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness. Hit the jump for Cooper’s review of the J.J. Abrams film.
CHECK OUT VIDEO, MICHAEL!!!!!!!! we’re almost there folks, may 26th. watch the trailer ad nauseum until then.
this is a fun little clip by way of MTV. a little personality put into the promo of arrested development (as if there wasn’t plenty, already). jessica walter, portia de rossi and jason bateman sit down and discuss some of their most memorable lines from the show.
while fans like myself are clamoring and chomping at the bit for every little news item on the 4th season of arrested development, entertainment weekly is here posting exclusive clips to satisfy that need. in this outtake/extended scene, weird things between lucille and baby buster happen, and it’s funny and stuff.
watch below. new season premieres in full on netflix on may 26th:
arrested development outtake
this is fuckin’ awesome. watch it.
just posted a video with mae whitman underneath, and happened to stumble upon this gem, directed by michael cera. why not drop em back to back? cera directs this short film, which finds a son attempting to save his father from a death by deterioration by enlisting his boss to sing a track with kelis. it’s a pretty fuckin’ weird concept, but ended up being a pretty solid twenty minutes.
although aaron paul took to twitter a while ago to announce that it’d be returning a bit sooner (july 14), we’ll be
getting the fifth and final season of breaking bad on august 11th. not only that, but AMC has also announced talking bad, an hour-long talk show following the new episodes each week, a la ‘talking dead.’ looks like this fall’s gonna be pretty sweet folks.
well viagra online pharmacy it’s about damn time. the folks behind showtime’s dexter took to facebook today to announce that the upcoming season of dexter will indeed be its last lap around the tv track.
let’s hope they at least TRY to end it on a high note.
it’s hard to believe dexter’s still on. it hit a couple of really bad seasons in 5 and 6, and even though season 7 started out promising and exciting, it ended in disappointment. word on the street is that season 8 is indeed the last season, but we saw what showtime did to shows like weeds, so who knows?
season 8 premieres june 30th.
So a while back, a good friend of our’s (Matthew Cooper) went through a phase where he wanted to write a few movie reviews for some advance screenings he attended (here’s his dated review for Drive), and we allowed this because we’re just all around good dudes. Last night, he caught an advance screening of the reimagined Evil Dead, and I’ll just let him take over from here.
Hit the jump for his review.

this movie has to potential to be hilarious (or very bad) so i’m just gonna drop this red band trailer off right here. this is the end follows around plenty of familiar faces (plot twist: they all play themselves) like seth rogen, danny mcbride, jonah hill, etc etc and they all get stuck in a house like saw 16 or something. hilarity definitely ensues in the trailer.
this movie looks to be something quite awesome, as shown in this trailer. well a press release containing the tracklisting also pumped up the ancipation, considering jay-z was the executive producing mind behind it all. thank you jay, for providing us with another beyonce and andre 3k collab, and even more so for it being a cover of amy winehouse’s “back to black.”

taste the happy, folks. arrested development will be making its comeback official on may 26th, the day netflix premieres its fourth season. and in the same fashion of house of cards, the premium online service will be streaming the season (15 new episodes) in its entirety. it’s going to take absolutely everything in my power not to burn through the entire season’s worth of episodes in one sitting. but no worries, i’m going to do it anyway.
