awww, here it goes! kanye got drunk or something again, and managed to find himself smack dab in the middle of one of his classic rants. i guess he realized people don’t mind him being around again, so he talked some more shit about the grammys, hates “suit & tie” and bashes corporations for good measure. hit the jump to read the transcript, or just watch him act a fool above.
IT’S BACK! of all the things zach’s done, i appreciate his one-man wolfpack jamboree that is between two ferns the most. and this one is a home-run, folks. this is the “oscar buzz edition, part 1″ – drunk anne hathaway, amy adams, jennifer lawrence and christolph waltz. plenty of luls here.
look at these guys, blowing up bit by bit off an independent album (a good one, too!) and a cornball single (that recently went #1!) and are now featured on a funny bit for FoD. hey, paul scheer! check it out above.
beyonce is currently reigning as the queen bee cover star of this month’s issue of gentleman’s quarterly. so take a peek at the behind the scenes of the photoshoot (fy terry richardson), filled with frolicking and other awesome things beyonce engages in.
pretty good cover story on the cudder, and it includes most of his recent label woes, as he heads into the album cycle for his upcoming (and delayed) LP, indicud.
You only had one song on Cruel Summer. Were you disappointed?
I was a little disappointed. But Kanye had a vision for that. Whatever that vision was didn’t include much of me. [Laughs.] I was bummed because I could’ve contributed. I’m a good asset. But he had a different vision. Everyone that was showcased on the album did their thing and they needed that at that time. The energy was on some hip-hop shit. I was on WZRD, doing my rock shit. But I’m not tripping.
bill murray has always been a fascinating actor, and is currently the reigning cover story of gentleman’s quarterly, and it’s a great one. for extra murray, hit the video above to find out a bunch of things you probably would never wanna know, but clicked to find out anyway. and you end up finding out that – yep, he’s pretty damn cool and charming.
I’ve been doing these for two years now (this is version 3.0), but I have to say, that the concept of “meme” went viral in a mainstream kinda way in 2012. Not only were Internet’s finest catching on, but there were dedicated Twitter accounts to memes (Successful Black Guy, Condescending Wonka, etc). And yes, that dilutes this arena a bit. But hey, fuck you – this is my internet and you can’t have it. I also have to mention that 2012 was a little thin at outstanding memes, but I managed to create a list of 15 and narrowed it down to a solid 10, all of which you can see below the jump.
You know that guy, “Panda” or whatever? He created this website so many of you have come to know and love, and so many of Me and Sunbear have come to update and maintain. Anyway, our beloved Jerome is about the unleash his dream – and it’s Dei Gratia & Co. Translated from Latin, it’s “by the grace of God,” and it’s the name of a concept store he wishes to one day open in the heart of Dallas, Texas.
There’s a lot that goes into this concept but to sum up, it’ll be a specialty mens haven, where you can get a haircut, craft cocktails and beers, tailoring, shoeshines and of course – retail goods. After plenty of research, hard work and late nights, he’s launched an indiegogo campaign. Much like the Kickstarter campaign, it’s a fundraiser based off of user donations that warrant different incentive packages.
It would be amazing if all of you could take a moment to check it out, and if not, throw a few bones his way to help kick off something special. We luv u, Jerbones! & Godspeed!
