i’m gonna need this like..yesterday. after an incredible outing in empty days and sleepless nights, boston’s defeater is done with their new LP. no word on when it’ll be released, but it’s safe to say some time this year.
atmospheric brit-rockers (whatever, i hate genre tagging) the 1975 have seen a pretty nice bit of hype after releasing a couple of EPs. now, the band is ready to release their debut LP, and a self-titled one at that. september 9th is the release date according to a tweet of theirs, and they have a slew of european tour dates to match. hit the jump for those, and preorder here.
good news, yeezy faithful. the elusive emcee has been confirmed for the SNL finale this season. as we all know, he’s out in pah-ree recording new music, so it’s a safe bet to assume he’s premiering new jams here.
our friends in air dubai, who recently signed to hopeless records at the end of last year, have announced that they’ll be dropping an EP as a precursor to their album, be calm. the EP, titled warning, will drop on may 21st. check the tracklisting below.
4/20. as if there was any other appropriate date, these two stoners took to cialis no prescription a google + hangout to act goofy as fuck for 15 minutes and in it, they announced that the 6-song (EP?) outing will drop this saturday.
good to hear from the AFI guys, even if i haven’t been a huge fan of the new wave they explored on crash love. that being said, this teaser does wonders,

our beloved kevin devine is moving along quite nicely after his successful kickstarter campaign, and today – he hit an interesting location to begin work on his 8th studio LP. the 8th one, as well all may know, is going to be a full band adventure with jesse lacey (brand new) producing. should be great, and both LPs will see a release this fall.
late last night, chi cheng’s heart stopped after several years of being in a coma after his horrific 2008 car accident. after an official announcement was posted on oneloveforchi, fans from all over spread the word, along with many words of love and support. the deftones have been one of my personal favorite bands since i was in 7th grade (that’s the year 1999), and a band that’s shaped the way i listened to rock music over the last decade. as i was on wiki looking up his age, i just found out a pretty neat fact: i shared a birthday with him.
godspeed, chi. RIP. lets all listen to deftones today.
