for his rehearsal for the performance however, adams performed a particularly moving rendition of his heartbreaker classic, “oh my sweet carolina” with his wife and former pop-starlet, mandy moore. the melancholy tone of this live version of the song rivals that of the album’s. it might even be the best performance of this song i’ve seen.
