baths’ latest record cerulean has been getting frequent play around these parts. i guess it would be hard to classify some of these beats, especially if you’re completely ignorant and indifferent about the genre tagging scene, but it’s safe to say that fans of flying lotus will dig a great bulk of cerulean. here’s a music video for “lovely bloodflow” which takes on literal translation here. i’ll go ahead and spoil it: there’s a dying, bleeding samurai in the woods who acquires a new soul? yeah, i know.
maybe it’s me, but i’m getting tired of these quirky and obscure videos from every band ever. i think it might be time to head back to the lovely days of the performance video.
