montreal’s cfcf, who last remixed health’s “before tigers“, unveils an original piece entitled “monolith” off his upcoming lp continent. i grow tired of describing the washed out house and swirly synths of such projects, suffice to say this one is pretty damn good. one that wallows in it’s minimalism before the tremendous drums and jazz piano kick on giving the song it’s second wind.
