earlier this year, folks who went to catch donald glover’s performance as childish gambino at the house of blues (or anyone on the CAMP tour) saw this video while he performed his ode to the lower east side, so it’s nice to see it finally hit the internet. glover’s been quiet since ROYALTY, so who know’s what’s coming from him this year. for now, enjoy the clip.

one of camp‘s best gets a sci-fi oriented, glover-less music video. some form of space travel, gun violence and a whole bunch of metaphors and symbolism flow the visuals, while hi5 collective takes care of the rest.

after dropping a jam-packed effort in royalty a few days ago, glover lets loose of ‘body,’ a track that missed the final cut of royalty. the track features mobb deep’s prodigy, and is quite good for a “throwaway.”

and right on time, donald glover’s much-anticipated, feature-heavy mixtape is here. from what i’ve heard thus far from all the leaks, the rhymes are more focused and less ‘lil-wayney’ this time around. a lot of great features on the tape – including but not limited to schoolboy q, uncle bun, god damn rza and ghostface, danny brown and TINA FEY!

while out in new york for the summerstage festival, the three rappers (all linked in some way or another) shared the stage with one another to put on a freestyle cypher for the crowd. three great verses from three all around cool ass dudes.
