kid cudi and chip the ripper (now king chip) have linked up for cudi’s first single from his upcoming LP, indicud. and while it is a step in the right direction, it’s not quite there. the hook is still a little stammery – but at least cudder’s back to rapping again. (see: back on the drugs)

i was less than thrilled with anything that chip does. the song with his feature is my least favorite on cudi’s album, but this is some dope stuff. chip sounds like a baby version of chuck inglish, who coincidentally produces this cut off of chip’s tape the cleveland show (relevancy, what up).
the true shining points of the track are most definitely the homie big sean and spitta, though. do not be fooled.
