sporting an asymmetrical dress and some doe-eyes that would make jayma mays jealous, annie clark was positively beaming last night during her performance of the synth-friendly “cruel” on the late show with david letterman. the song comes to us from her album strange mercy, which is out september 13.
i especially love the way she just stands around in front of the microphone as dave greets the entire st. vincent band, clark last.
