lucky” (and even a fake full track), it’s safe to say that this will be one of the greatest songs any of us hear all summer. so, perfect timing for mr. williams to head into the collaborators series to discuss his experience with daft punk, which included taking some type of psychedelic drug to record, and by the time he hit the plane to go back home, he had forgotten everything.

last night at coachella, daft punk (who were at the festival) premiered this teaser video, “get lucky.” on it, they confirm all of the rumored collaborations for their upcoming album and they include: panda bear, julian casablancas, chilly gonzales, giorgio moroder and pharrell williams, to name just a few.

holy shit, it’s here. itunes had a new daft punk album listed, and naturally we all went nuts. and while this 13-track affair hasn’t been made official, an iTunes announcement with a release date of may 21st and a title of random access memories does little to suggest otherwise.
