after changing his new LP’s name from LOVE IV to fourplay (grimace), the-dream wants to make your valentines day special with his new single, “slow it down.” along for the ride is funeral fab, who’s making a non-mixtape appearance on something worth mentioning putting the radio-friendly “throw it in the bag” team back together – which is always good to hear and welcome ’round these parts.
fourplay is out may 7th.

here’s a visual for fab’s latest single from his 2nd installment of the s.o.u.l. tape, which employs pusha t for a nice guest collaboration per usual pusha t antics.

originally finding a home on fabolous’ soul tape 2, j. cole came to his senses and realized he did the damn thing, so he released the solo version of his verse, now with plenty more bars.

fab follows up his very solid s.o.u.l. tape with a proper sequel. a few great features in wale, j. cole and pusha t, but fab has always held his own on this mixtape circuit.

i feel bad for not realizing this tape dropped in the first place, but the internet has taken dj drama “out of the mix” for this no dj version.

fab’s soul tape kinda flew by me, and the music video/song combination we have here kinda makes me wish i didn’t. video fits the mood of the song perfectly. and we should all know by now how much more correct mixtape fab comes.

vevo’s own version of the take away show, i suppose. fab hits an iconic and geographically important places to him and performs the cut on top of the brooklyn bridge.

some pretty big features on here. loso’s been known to put out better mixtapes than albums, so i’m kinda lookin’ forward to this one. tracklist below the jump.

tight. mixtape fab’s back in action with his take on yeezy’s “devil in a new dress.” the s.o.u.l. tape is his next project, and will be dropping sometime this month. for now, enjoy the visuals.

i can’t actually listen to the music i’m posting cause i’m at work, but i figured i should probably help pick up some slack while grizzly is in a terrorist cell somewhere in iran celebrating the holidays. anyway, loso goes in on the j. cole/drake smash off of the young simba’s latest mixtape.
