fabolous – lights out (2010)

i just wanna say, lex luger has been making some mean ass beats. the dude is definitely doing the WCW champ justice. this song is gonna be one of a trifecta of new songs to accompany the retail release of funeral fab’s mixtape, there is no competition 2. also, sampling one of my favorite jigga songs of all time isn’t a bad thing, either. album drops august 24th.

knock knock, killa cam. two new songs off his upcoming mixtape with vado and dj drama entitled boss of all bosses 2.5. no tags and both of these are superb. cudi, albeit a very random collab, works well with cam on the hooks and loso kills his verse like just about every guest verse he’s done in the past 3 years.

i’m glad that this single is finally getting the attention it deserves. chris breezy does his thing, wale has a dope new verse and fab kills this shit. also, good looks at fab’s hat. despite our ridiculously shitty record, i’m still holding out for a decent astros 2010 season. sigh.

fabolous – turnt up + tonight + for the money (2010)

so a few days ago, loso dropped part II to his mixtape (scroll down, eh?). i’m sure anyone who downloaded it wants to stab dj drama in the neck for yelling over every song, so the glorious web has dropped three tracks from the tape without drama. all three are worth downloading.

his latest single from loso’s way, after seeing mild success for “it’s my time” and the even more viable hit “throw it in the bag.” this one isn’t so much for the ladies, which means this one will fly under the radar.

so i knew that with the purchase of the deluxe edition of loso’s way, you’d be able to watch his film of the same name. thanks to the wonderful pirates of the interwebs, i was able to find it on some site – what it be dot com. classy.

anyway, this is somewhat based off of his real life (according to wikipedia. grain of salt, please.) but the fact that it’s actually a real film is hilarious on it’s own. cameos from dj clue/khaled and styles p, along with some other dudes. it’s 30 minutes in runtime, so i doubt any of you will watch it anyway.

here’s a video (presented by FADER) of loso performing one of his early hits “superwoman” at an nyc stop for the reebok classic remix campaign. until i saw this video, i completely forgot that this song existed. takes you back a few years, haha.

fabolous – loso’s way [movie trailer] (2009)

i might be the only one, but i’m excited about this album. i think he’s pulling out a few tricks to actually put out a cohesive album for a change. everything i’ve heard off this album went hard (it’s my time, when the money goes, throw it in the bag, welcome to my workplace) and that’s already more tracks i’ve enjoyed off this album than all of his preceding records.

this movie will be available with the deluxe edition of loso’s way, in stores july 28. if you’re a pirate, i’m sure you’ll find it on a torrent.
