welp. that was a whole lot of anticipation, for a fairly underwhelming lineup in this blogger’s opinion. but hey, the free booze and the atmosphere is always a huge draw, and i’m sure they’re planning a few surprises. with appearances and performances from schoolboy q, ab-soul, ra ra riot, diiv solange, future, trinidad james, chvrches, and much more. head to fader for the full lineup release.

this year’s highly anticipated lineup for the fader fort was announced last friday. if you happened to miss it, feel free to check it out. it’s a bit disappointing, but the rumors for saturday’s special guests are already swirling. be sure to tune in here starting wednesday to stream the whole show.

it’s that time of the year, folks. sxsw is upon us, and we’re quite aware that you can’t join all of the festivities. thankfully, the people at fader and fiat are back again this year with full video streaming coverage of the fader fort and all that it entails. over the course of the next four days, you can catch sets from a bunch of notable artists, including but not limited to:

ellie goulding, raphael saadiq (today at 6!), matt & kim, the cool kids, wiz khalifa, smith westerns, currensy, and so on. and for all you people who like douchebag rap, the likes of odd future, lil b, yelawolf and mac miller all have sets as well. for the full lineup, hit the jump.

we wore masks x sxsw 2009.

quick update from the fader fort on the last day of south by southwest. we’re posted up in our finest outfits, drinking soco and waiting for the G.O.O.D. music showcase, along with rick ross, jadakiss, and others. we got the low on some big surprises coming on tonight. expect a sxsw 2009 wrap up with a lot of good shit including exclusive interviews/photos/video/etc.
