finally! florence sheds the operatic and mysticism of past videos and gives us a vintage camera clip for her ceremonials track “breaking down.” there’s a ton of shots of los angeles and new orleans, and even more of flo not looking like a greek godess for once. check it out above.

flo and an army of chorus singers are intercut with scene’s from the upcoming universal blockbuster snow white and the huntsman in the new video for “breath of life.” both are epic and sweeping, but only one has charlize theron taking a milk bath. check it out above.

seen the trailers for snow white and the huntsman lately? there’s a march-like florence & the machine song playing on it called “breath of life.” wait, i thought it was a kiss that brings back snow white? oh, its kristen stewart? yeah hang onto that smooch, p.c.
during the taping of florence + the machine’s unplugged performance for mtv (set to air april 8th), flo invited queens of the stone age’s josh homme onto the stage to perform a cover of johnny cash and june carter’s due “jackson.” check it and homme’s creepy new look out above, and the tracklist for the unplugged performance after the jump.
clams casino aka mike volpe usually dabbles in washed out hip-hop beats for the likes of lil b and soulja boy, but given the sweeping and dramatic arrangements of florence & the machine he really reigns in all the theatrics and lets loose a seemless remix better than the original.

joining the shoegazing horrors onstage at the nme awards for a duet performance of “still life” from 2011′s skying was florence welch of florence and the machine fame. both bands took home awards that night, the former for best album, and the latter for best solo artist and best track for “shake it out.” check out the performance above.
