mixtape: weworemasks presents: sxsw 2009

so your favorite bears will be at sxsw starting tomorrow (jerome on friday) and we decided to do something nice for the readers since there will be a lack of posting from now until sunday. anyway, us three bears put together this little “mixtape” with some of the artists that we will probably see or are planning to see this weekend.

it recently was confirmed by the associated press that kanye west is doing a not-so-secret-but-still-a-secret performance this year. so if you love us, cross your fingers in hopes that we’ll get in to the show and catch yeezy and the G.O.O.D. crew.

anyway, enjoy the tape. when we get back, we’ll have a huge round-up of everything we saw, much like last year. grizzly is also the champion of the planet and landed an interview with P.O.S. and a post-sxsw interview with dan keyes of young love/recover fame, so be on the lookout for that.

it’s the cons. he leaked a hot track off of some grand theft auto compilation? ep? have no clue. but it’s not on his upcoming album. it’s produced by statik selektah, who rome posted about the other day. real good song. and at any rate, an album co-produced by q-tip and yeezy surely won’t disappoint.
