two new fat tony posts in one day – as his latest single “home” gets the tour montage treatment. and why not? after opening for the likes of wu-tang clan and snoop dogg and his debut LP getting steam, there’s no better way to celebrate than a ‘homecoming’ song of sorts, touching down in venues like the mink and mangoes, to name a few.

video: lcd soundsystem – home (2010)
i thought aj had posted this, but here it is. as far as my knowledge goes, this isn’t necessarily the official video, but it might as well be. a local videographer/director took this on as his own project over the summer, with shots of hipster houston and the free press summer fest that took place in june. it’s a really nice look into houston’s nicest and grungiest parts all the same, set to a backdrop of lcd soundsystem’s “home,” off of this is happening. and robots!!!
