my favorite song from cole world, personally. very glad to see a video and proper shine for it as a “single,” despite how flat the video falls. let’s face it: this was never really a good single, so it’s only a half complaint.
COH WORLD!

j. cole utilizes the kirko bangz single for his latest “freestyle” venture. initially it hit the web with a 2chainz verse, but it was unofficial? or some shit. regardless, cole posted it on his dreamvillain site in its original version.

coming off the highly touted and successful first run, it’s not surprising that drake’s relaunching this brand for a second full US tour, touching down on the cities he skipped the first time around. instead of k dot and asap rocky, the fans will get a dose of j. cole, waka flocka flame, 2 chains and meek mill. neat little lineup, i suppose. dates after the jump.

i think i speak for everyone when i say: missy elliott, plz to release another album.
but this is a pretty well-directed video for an unlikely single from cole world. i can see some mild to moderate radio success on this one.

j. cole enjoyed his time back home, after his hometown deemed the other day “cole day” on “dreamville weekend.” i imagine it’s a little surreal for the guy. anyway, a new song from cole’s camp is never a bad thing.

melanie is fantastic. her new album, the MF life is dropping in a couple of weeks, and here’s a single featuring the chosen one from fayetteville. doesn’t this shit remind you of the 90s?!

what do we have to do to make j.cole sample MORE soul and put out an album of shit like this? david ruffin samples, 2 million twitter followers and cole going off for a few verses. it’s a celebration.

alternatively called the campus consciousness tour, this stint will feature two of hip-hop’s newest and most respectable figures. both cole and krit are in full control of their products, considering they both produce their own shit, so i’m glad to see them on tour together. let’s axe this “college” concept and take this tour nationally, shall we? dates below the jump.

ok, not really an interview, but the associated press talking to j. cole is a great thing for the man. clap for em.

you’d think that’d be enough, but trae gets his “racks” remix on with four more guests than the ones mentioned: tyga, jadakiss, gudda gudda (lol) and king bun b.
and did i mention the best thing about this song? RETURN OF THE MACK IS SAMPLED.

mr. cole sits down with pandora and talks about his career up until this point – his best new artist nod at the grammys.

cole world with the roots is a winner. however, it’d be nice if we got a new single. tired of hearing this jam and “work out” on the late night circuit.
