watch: vampire weekend – ya hey + everlasting arms [live on fallon]

more bands need to follow vampire weekend suit. when on a promotional run for your brand new album (modern vampires of the city is in stores today), don’t hit 4 late night shows and play the same 1 or 2 songs. after performing “diane young” and “unbelievers” on SNL this past weekend, VW knocks two more tracks into the mainstream.

watch: jimmy fallon + selena gomez – mario kart love song [live on fallon]

spring breaker selena gomez did her spring breakers rounds on fallon last night and all was well and good. but that was before the host coaxed the former wizard of waverly place into a serene duet of sam hart’s 2008 youtube viral hit “mario kart love song” and shit went straight bananas. watch the pair tape yarn to their face and sing about blue shells and reverse cups above.

mario kart will forever be amazing. fuck your sparks, toad.

justin timberlake and jimmy fallon link up for some good times, especially when it deals with a song he hasn’t yet performed in a public setting yet. “pusher love girl,” the 20/20 experience’s leadoff track, gets some shine on the late night circuit.

remember, this is a week long residency of timberlake on fallon, so get used to these. below the jump, check out an interview where he addresses the kanye jab in jest.

watch: tyler, the creator & the roots – treehome, domo 23 [live on fallon]

what is this shit? why am i so intrigued with this new tyler material? i don’t even like “domo 23″! it’s just crazy how…crazy this dude is. we all remember him turning the late night circuit upside down a couple of years ago with his “sandwitches” performance. he had mos def yelling “swag!” and now, he sits behind a piano to premiere a new track from his upcoming album wolf (“treehome”) and then hits “domo 23,” all alongside the roots. by the way, when is this asshole gonna stop yelling and just make rappin’ ass rap tracks? we know he’s capable.

wolf is out april 2.

video: big boi & little dragon – mama told me [live on fallon] + audio (2012)

the original version of ‘mama told me’ was premiered at one of those vitamin water/fader events, initially enlisting little dragon for all the background vox and hook duties. one thing lead to another and kelly rowland ended up on the album due to whatever circumstances. but let’s move past that, as big boi hit the fallon stage with little dragon to perform it how it was intended.

and of course, what better times than to grab the original too, right? vicious lies…is out tuesday and it is fuckin’ excellent.
