JT might not be making his own music, but he’s teaming up with timbaland and putting forth his full efforts into trying to get freesol big. and while it looks good on paper, this song is…pretty awful.

so it’s still cool, but they’re kinda beating the concept into the ground, right?
can’t wait for undun, the roots.
make some more albums, jt.
keep wearing great suits, fallon.

i guess as long as he’s not working on an album, i’ll take unreleased cuts into my hard drive with open portals. this song is probably the best one he hasn’t released, by the way.

well, justin timberlake might not be in the studio recording new music, but he was at irving plaza a few days ago, performing at a release party for his 901 tequila. he performed 3 (to my knowledge) songs on his acoustic guitar, including the one up top and “like i love you” and “what goes around” below the jump.

legit ass video for the track that leaked a long while ago. no clue why this doesn’t get a legit release, game’s got an instant smash on his hands throwing these two into the mix.

amazing. anytime timberlake hooks up with the SNL crew, results are hilarious. throw a gaga who is actually having fun into the mix and you have a recipe for success. the latest SNL digital short finds us exploring the realm of “it’s not gay, when it’s in a 3-way.” i’ll let the trio handle the rest.
oh and gaga performed with crazy pregnant costumes and other weird shit like that. you can see that below the jump.

whoa, new JT? even though it’s not the best, i’ll take it. i just want him to realize he’s much better off making music versus making that super contrived, super boring clothing line he’s got going on with william rast.
apparently, this song isn’t him. my bad, folks.

fresh off his well-received role as sean parker on the social network, timberlake stops by NPR to shed more light on the days of n’sync, becoming a mildly successful and revered actor and of course, “dick in a box.” it’s definitely a good listen, but as usual, the npr interview runs about 30 minutes.

while timberlake was in house to promote his flick, the social network, the concept of hip-hop music came up, and these two already had something legendary planned out. gotta love the voice shadowing on both parties behalf, and you can never go wrong with the roots. i had way too much fun watching this.

interesting collaboration to say the least. it’s a slow burner, and i’m definitely enjoying everything i’ve heard from this oft-delayed last train to paris. the worst thing about it all is having to hear diddy, honestly. definitely a guilty pleasure.

the r.e.d. album is shaping up real nicely. loving what game’s doing with pharrell. i’m wondering though, hasn’t he sent out shots to pharrell in the past? no mind, as they’ve thrown justin timberlake in the mix with a classic neptunes sound. this almost reminds me of something off of justin’s first album.
below the cut, catch a video for ‘shake,’ which has cameos from stacey dash (yowza!), the clipse and…ron artest?

so this is apparently the official track for the playoffs? per the video up top. it’s no kanye west’s “amazin” in terms of playoff intensity, but that in no way negates the hotness of this track. check out that lineup. it’s like the cavaliers starting fucking lineup. 60-16 type shit, mane. now that march madness is coming to a close on monday, it’s safe to say i’m absolutely stoked about the nba playoffs. where boring usually doesn’t happen.

there’s a contradiction in this post, but i’m posting it for the ladies and justin timberlake. i know, right? in any case, this song sucks, but i love the video. timbaland needs to stop rapping forever.

i wasn’t sure how to feel about this one upon first listen. i mean, timbo does what he always does (but autotune, really?). i like the heavy percussion. overall, it’s growing on me. timberlake holds it down a whole lot more on this one than on the other track we posted. i’m a bit surprised this one isn’t making shock value 2. i could see it being a smash with the right video.

song isn’t a good look for these two. timbaland should flip the script a bit. a. stop rapping and b. simply ad-lib your songs (see: jay-z’s ‘off that’).
timberlake, however, i expected much much more from. sigh. off shock value II? not sure.

is it just me, or is this track on a neptunes/clipse tip? either way, heat.

t.i. released the video to what’s presumably the last single before he’s off to the pen. bummer. paper trail’s still being bumped by me, and i hate anyone who doesn’t/hasn’t listened to it. wordpress is a bitch about embedding flash, and i’m way too lazy to figure it out. and justin on the bridge is still one of the best things ever.
