video: kanye west – lost in the world (2012)

from seemingly nowhere amongst the “i don’t likes” and “mercys” of g.o.o.d. music comes a video from the super sad “lost in the world,” from yeezy’s MBDTF. filmmaker ruth hogben put together a stroby video for the album closer, in which you never see yeezy’s face apparently.

chief keef – i don’t like [remix f. kanye west, pusha t, big sean & jadakiss] (2012)

if you ever wanted to define “landmark co-sign,” then look no further than this remix. not only is chief keef a 16-year-old artist from chicago who has gotten the attention of good music head yeezy, but he’s also gotten a much-hyped, much promoted new remix, which has been the talk of the webs for the past week. anyway, here it is. via fakeshoredrive.

video: kanye west – way too cold [unofficial] (2012)

[vodpod id=Video.16397154&w=425&h=350&fv=%26rel%3D0%26border%3D0%26]

this unofficial clip should absolutely be the official video. not that it’s amazing, but if you wanna see a little kid walking around with a model mouthing “can’t a young nigga get money anymore?” a few times, then this one’s right up your alley.

stream: q-tip officially announces his signing to g.o.o.d. music (2012)

[vodpod id=Video.16357932&w=425&h=350&fv=%26rel%3D0%26border%3D0%26]

if hip-hop free agency was real, then g.o.o.d. music is like the 2007 boston celtics, the ____ ny yankees, the current denver broncos, etc etc. in the past couple years, they’ve scooped up pusha t (and eventually the clipse), mos def and common, not to mention they still have john legend, common, and all the young dudes. what’s this roster coming to? happy for q-tip, can’t wait for the official follow up to the renaissance, which was his best album.

tony williams – another you [f. kanye west] (2012)

bink!, the guy who produced my favorite beat on MBDTF links up with G.O.O.D.’s CEO and resident crooner (other than john legend, of course) for a track from tony’s brand new LP, the king or the fool (out today on itunes). since a lot of these upload sites are acting goofy, we’ll try out sharebeast for a while.

video: the throne – niggas in paris [official] (2012)

[vodpod id=Video.16067297&w=425&h=350&fv=]

“niggas in paris” finally gets an official music video, after turning millions of heads and making “that shit cray” a staple in everyday american and seafood culture. the video finds the duo during their LA stop of the throne tour, with bouts of epilepsy and the entire visual experience of the throne tour wrapped up in a 4 minute package.

oh and this video is strangely familiar, ain’t it?
