Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who still watches music videos. It seems like the art of the music video’s definitely been lost in translation over the years, what – with shorter attention spans, less time on the go, whatever it may be. But whatever – I enjoy the videos and I’ll continue to use this post to curate some of 2014’s best visuals.
Below the jump, you’ll find an alphabetical list of some of my favorite music videos of the past year.

while her collaboration with juicy j was surprising, this new remix with jody highroller is even more of a head scratcher. but yeah, here’s this song.

katy perry’s “birthday” gave us one of the best videos of the year so far, and now holy ghost! have returned the favor by giving us a hell of a remix to pop tune. broke version of LCD fans rejoice. and if you hate katy perry, it doesn’t matter, because that picture shows off more katy perry than the song.
katy perry and the turn up god finally put out a (very cheesy) video for one of her best singles to date. don’t act like you aren’t down to cook to this, either.
can’t stop laughing, crying, peeing, pooping, fapping, etc. this is ridiculous. i love katy perry so much for this shit.
brian fallon has a soft spot for pop i’m guessing. turns out, “teenage dream” is still a good song even if brian fallon’s raspy ass is singing. no embed, so watch it at the link below, as well as a video of them performing “sugar.”
the horrible crowes – teenage dream [katy perry cover] + sugar
first off, i’ve never liked this song. even with a visual, including all of katy’s perry’s assets, wasn’t enough to get me to slightly bob my head at the track. that might be due to the fact that everyone’s trying to put on ugly garb in the midst of lady gaga’s absence. newsflash: we don’t need another gaga. hell, it’s definitely at the point where we don’t need gaga anymore.
I MEAN WHO THE HELL OK’D PERRY’S CORNROWS?
what. the. fuu. this song is terrible, but yeezy’s on it and has a pretty solid verse, to be honest. i’m just never gonna listen to this song voluntarily ever again.
suspect collab at best. and i thought katy perry hated kanye west?
