show recap: city & colour (september 15, 2011)

Dallas Green has been an incredibly busy man for the last seven years. As he’s been a full time member of Alexisonfire, he’s fit City & Colour into his schedule when possible,. As far as touring goes, he’s been limited. He’s about to go on an immense world tour, starting with a few Texas dates, leading into ACL this weekend. Houston was the second stop on the tour, and I was more than happy to attend.

Recap after the jump.

dallas green’s new album drops june 7th, and here’s a teaser for the upcoming documentary, which is to be packaged with little hell. this guy’s solo stuff is some of my favorite sad bastard music around, so i’ll definitely be tuning into this.

city and colour – fragile bird (2011)

the endlessly talented dallas green is gearing up for a third city and colour album, little hell, which is out this june. as a teaser, dine alone records has put up the first single, “century girl.” right off the bat, you notice that this isn’t the super sad-bastard city and colour of the sometimes era. “fragile bird” has keys and is…bouncy?!
