one of longliveasap‘s livest tracks with his buddy skrillex and birdy nam nam find all of them headed out to the dominican republic with esteemed producer chris robinson to put together a hearty and very high budget video for the biggest banger the LP had to offer.
and hey, skrilly even makes his trip out there worth it by remixing the end.
i’m not exactly sure why this track was cut from longliveASAP, but it was, and now thanks to the streetrunnerz mixtape series, we get to hear it (even though it has drops). hopefully a CDQ surfaces soon enough.
asap rocky enlists a three-pronged DJ attack on letterman during his performance of “wild for the night.” dj clark kent, a-trak and araabmuzik all join forces for a mind melter of a mini dj set, packed into 2 minutes of a “wild for the night” performance. to kick things off, asap sat atop a throne and performed a verse from his new album’s namesake for good measure.
hit the jump to see asap freestyling to “clique,” as well.
even though longliveASAP’s a leaked product that’s old news for many, the bonus content for the release have still been a topic of intrigue. as we move towards tuesday’s release, the drop of the introspective “i come apart” is a bit of a surprise. on the track, asap and florence provide for somber melodies about love lost. good to see rocky branchin’ out, you know?
longliveasap is out jan 15th.
asap rocky sits down with jay’s life + times to discuss the title track from his new album. longliveASAP has been out for some time now, but it officially drops on tuesday, jan 15th.
still moving past the leak, asap rocky is here with a new video for the title track from his upcoming LP. black and white in aesthetics to match the album art and overall rapping demeanor, this is a very well done clip – and hey, he’s wearing a skirt too!
well, now that the leak of the entire album is out, you might as well humor ‘em right? here’s the lead off and title track from asap rocky’s upcoming (no longer anticipated) LP, longliveASAP.

after telling us the release date and dropping the artwork, asap is back on the blogs with a stylish new clip for “fuckin’ problem,” his club banger lead single from longliveasap. nothing to dislike here, other than the fact that it’s 2012 and drake hasn’t gotten a haircut in months and still doesn’t know how to dress.
we’re inching closer, slowly but surely. asap rocky’s highly anticipated and delayed debut LP, longliveasap, will see the light of day on january 15, 2013. check the artwork above, and as always, stay tuned for more.
in a new interview, asap rocky speaks on the constant delays for his debut LP, longliveasap. and if “fuckin problem” got you excited for the record, sit tight, because it’s not coming out until next year.
below the jump, watch asap perform a freestyle to meek’s “young and gettin’ it.”
well, there you have it. if there ever was a topical rap moment that can be summed up with “HEY ALL YOU RAP FANS, HERE IS A TOPICAL AND RELEVANT RAP SINGLE!” – it’s right here. asap rocky enlists 3 of the biggest names in hip-hop right now for his lead single from his upcoming debut, longliveASAP. and while the hook can get a little obnoxious, 40′s beat is pretty tight and everyone’s verses are top notch (and tity boi doesn’t have one, for the record). listen below.
remember months ago, when the kickdrums dropped a mixtape and the premiere track was missing? well, flacko wanted it all for his ownsome, as he preps his game for longliveASAP, dropping september 11th. i won’t lie – it doesn’t exactly live up to the expectations rocky set for himself by pulling it, and that’s only due to his subpar verses. but regardless, what a nice way to keep things going after that incredible music video, right?
