lu’s “deliver” reminds me of “gotta eat.” while the video and song itself take on the lyrics’ literal meanings, it’s definitely about something much bigger than that – bringing light to the perils of the rougher parts of the chi.
tetsuo & youth is out jan. 20.
long time collaborator nikki jean shows up for an FnF affair on lupe’s newest single. tetsuo & youth is coming up quick, with its january 20th release date approachin.
it’s weird to hear a remix for a song that’s 7 years old, but tokimonsta killed this remix.

is this gonna be lupe fiasco’s best project since the cool? with the three latest drops from the project being consistent – i’m aiming towards yes.
it’s #FBF for lupe fiasco, apparently. for his latest outing, he takes us back to the days of the cool, brings nikki jean on “haile selassie.” that not enough? no other than longtime collaborator soundtrakk behind the boards for this gem.
his new tape, lost in the atlantic ocean, is coming soon.
lupe will forego the release of tetsuo and youth (which is now slated for a january 2015 release) with a mixtape, lost in the atlantic ocean. this one is assumed to be taken from the latter release, which will drop sometime in november (i’m guessing).
in lu of anything (yeah, went there) from a new track off of tetsuo and youth, lupe fiasco checks in with a gritty new track “for the streets” as they like to say. listen below.
after releasing “mission” for SU2C (stand up 2 cancer), lupe fiasco enlists two high profiled guests from his hometown for the follow-up single, “remission.” it will be on itunes soon, but for now, enjoy the studio footage.
lupe fiasco’s lead single from tetsuo and youth has a lot more commercial appeal than i understand, but having ty on board definitely helps. no one knows what to expect from lu’s fifth studio LP, but the fact that people are still even remotely interested says plenty.
the album will be out later this year.
lupe fiasco’s new album, tetsuo and youth, is slowly shaping up. glad to see lu branching out a bit – and the newest one employs ty dolla behind the production boards, as well as a featured artist on the track.
radio rip for now – CDQ coming soon. xclusiveszone came through with a CDQ.
lupe fiasco – next to it (feat. ty dolla sign; CDQ)
MTV’s latest premiere comes from ab-soul’s incoming follow-up to control system, these days, which drops on june 24th. this one brings nikki jean back (damn girl, where the hell you been?) and employs lupe fiasco for a verse.
stream it above.
taking a break from controversy and rebelling against the industry is lupe fiasco, who’s dropped “mission,” a song for the ‘Stand Up 2 Cancer’ movement. the intro is an inspiring bit, featuring the voices of plenty of survivors of cancer speaking freely about the topic.
the song is available on itunes now, as well as SU2C’s homepage.
lupe fiasco hits the interskreets with a new single, employing another guy who has a third eye and shit. listen below.
i will say, though: this is the best thing that either of these rappers have been a part of in a while.
with little to no warning, we get two new sequential lupe fiasco tracks in one evening. both titled “snitches,” and one of them featuring the currently hot ty dolla sign.
