following up on their addictive 2009 debut jewellry, micachu and the shapes have announced a july 24th release date for their new lp never.

delightfuly bouncy song from micachu’s album, jewellry. layers upon layers of bouncy basslines, distorted guitar, harmonized vocals, electronic blips, handclaps, keyboards and drum loops. this could’ve been a giant muddle had it not been for the restraint and attention to detail shown by micachu to only texture the arrangement with its various flavors as she sings in the thickest of U.K. accents (every vowel sound seems like it was made with an ‘O).
