mickey factz is back and is always coming out of the woodworks with an interesting and in the least – a unique concept. taking on samples from dangermouse and deadmau5, mickey mau5e is a new mixtape of 17 cuts, following a loose theme of a character’s battle with fame and other TL; DR stuff you can check out at the page.

quest – something to prove [f. mickey factz] (2011)

quest gets a fairly high profile feature for a new single, slated to be released on how thoughtful 2, dropping later this summer/year. the two pawn off of each other fairly nicely and i would’ve never initially seen the two ever coming together on a track.

mickey factz – letter to sonic (2011)

interesting/unexpected track, to say the least. mickey factz lets loose a letter to charles hamilton via a track produced by sonic himself. interesting to hear the history of their friendship and it’s great to hear he has so many well respected supporters in the hip-hop community. come back chuck!

mickey factz – black tearz pt. I-IV (2011)

new mickey! this time, a 3 4 parter for a track called black tearz. a little spoken word in each makes a nice touch. not sure if there are anymore parts coming, but it’s been a couple of days, so it’s safe to call it a trilogy quadrilogy (?) for now.
