video: the gaslight anthem – halloween [new; live song] (2012)

over the course of the past few shows, the gaslight anthem have been performing a new song, “halloween.” the above video footage is very good in quality, as is the song. it’ll be cool to see what this song is for – perhaps a new album already?

check out an acoustic rendition below the jump.

mumford and his sons hit the philly radio station 104.5 to premiere a brand new song entitled “ghosts,” and it’s the same harmonizing goodness that you’re used to hearing from the irish band that pretends to be british.

stream: fairweather – kill the silence (2011)

i’ve had a little bit of a bitter taste in my mouth with fairweather since their disappointing (see: drunken) performance on their farewell tour back in the day. but the boys are back and in rare form. they’ve dropped a stream of a new track, and hot damn did they pick right back up where they left off. jay littleton’s vocals are as soaring as ever and the guitars just sound plain awesome. if you weren’t around for fairweather before, check this out for a great intro, then pick up everything they’ve ever released.

stream:

fairweather – kill the silence.
