i’m confused as to why they keep remixing the same song, but i guess i’m not complaining. putting nas first, and now the mighty mos on a gil scott couldn’t be a bad thing.

i know we don’t post about gil scott around these parts, but that’s simply because i’m not well versed in the way of words when it comes to ridiculously eclectic artists such as gil. i’ve been a casual fan over the past few years, having been most recently captivated by i’m new here, his first studio LP of new material in sixteen years. in any case, ‘new york is killing me’ is easily one of the highlights on the record, and here we have nasty nas hopping on and spittin a handful of bars on it. smooth.
