news: kid cudi announces release date for ‘indicud’

i’ve been waiting patiently for kid cudi to start releasing music i enjoy again. he’s had plenty of great work in the interim of now and the man on the moon 1 days (“she hates me” for one) but everything else has been pretty hit or miss. the tracks he’s released from this album thus far have been on par with what i’m expecting, though.

anyway, it’s as close to 4/20 as he could get.

news: the-dream announces release date for love IV (2012)

exciting news for dream fans. august 14 will be the official release date of LOVE IV, his fourth official record. that’s only if you don’t consider the freebie 1977 as a studio LP, in which case you’d be silly.

common’s the dreamer, the believer gets a release date (2011)

very excited to see this news. via fakeshoredrive and a warner bros. representative, it seems as though the no i.d. produced instant classic (is it too early to assume? will my foot be in my mouth in a couple of months?) the dreamer, the believer will hit retail on november 22nd, which by most clocks, is just in time for black friday.

‘watch the throne’ release date? (2011)

according to many sources (including THE source), watch the throne is dropping on america’s independence day – july 4th. quite the statement, huh? regardless, other news tidbits such as jay-z cut his hair (after a customary grow-out while he works on an album) and the subsequent rumored tracklist leave room to wonder. hopefully we get a confirmation up in this b soon.

tracklisting:

1. Lift Off (Feat. Beyonce & Bruno Mars)
2. Murder To Excellence
3. Illest Motherfucker Alive
4. Why I Love You So(Guilt Trip)
5. That Shit Crazy
6. Living So Italian
7. Who Gonna Stop Me
8. Whole Lifetime
9. We Are Young
10. Anthem

news: recover’s challenger gets a release date (2010)

honestly, it’s been so long since challenger was an idea and a set of downloadable demos, [ed note: one of this blog's first posts!] that i forgot that the band had plans to release it officially. january 25, 2011 is when you’ll see it hit digital retailers and such. i’m hoping that the band decided to re-record em and make it sound aweosme, but i’m sure that’s the type of shit that allows every emo kid to pretend they have to right to get mad about “the demos being better.” either way, i’m excited.
