while i went ahead and bought this album from target, i was too lazy to upload the bonus tracks, therefore got beat. thankfully, the chicago blog fakeshoredrive is always on top of shit. so i’m gonna cut my work in half, use their pictures and steal their links. come at me bro.
oh and if you’re wondering about the remixes:
“the believer” – new beat and stuffs.
“ghetto dreams” – a third common verse, sans nas. and it’s still as good.

as a part of the HTC x squared series with FADER, big krit gets remixed by on-the-rise producer/artist clams casino, who is the man behind some of my favorite beats on this year’s LIVELOVEA$AP. anyway, head to fader/soundcloud for a free download of this jam.

doom gettin’ remixed by maximum ballooned dave sitek for a 10th anniversary compilation of lex records is a beautiful thing. and good thing the internet loves to blue balls you and only throw up a 1:19 preview to enjoy.

it doesn’t seem like the niceguys half ass anything, huh? the average remix would re-use the same beat, maybe even the same verses and just tack on the feature like it wasn’t that pivotal of a moment in music. but yves and producer free took things to the next level. new beats, new rhymes and a lyrical showdown between one of houston’s finest and bun b. just kidding on that last one…but seriously. you’d be surprised as to how well yves stacks up.
props to brando on the premiere, download below. don’t forget, the group is still working on james kelly…the album, which is dropping one of these days.

the born this way remix collection is on its way and will drop november 21st, and here we have the weeknd’s contribution. aka, the main thing i was looking forward to. and this song makes perfect sense with the weeknd, if you couldn’t tell.
-grizzly

seeing as how it’s probably impossible to get andre on board for the video for this song, three stacks has been swapped for j. cole on this remix. decent substitution at best.

DCFC are putting together a remixed version of codes and keys on november 22nd and what better way to introduce it than a cut copy remix?

in the druggy hands of the weeknd, florence and the machine’s latest single “shake it out,” from her upcoming album ceremonials, sounds like, well like a weeknd track. dark, edgy and triptastic.
stream the weeknd remix of “shake it out” here, thanks to disco naivete.

first of all, lolwut? second of all, did bieber’s voice finally drop completely? third, he edits “i don’t trust these bitches” to a hearty and wholesome “i don’t trust these women.” this is stupid, and totally worth sharing.

mr. hawthorne has officially launched his weekly #mayermonday series with a bang. his tourmates chromeo have done what they do best and funked up the single from mayer’s upcoming album. this would have been the perfect song for the soundtrack to any ’80s movie involving a ski lodge on the verge of closing down. get your week started right.
stream:
