björk has a biophilia remix series that will drop a track once per fortnight (i’ve always wanted to use “fortnight” in its correct context). we’ve already heard current value’s take on “crystalline,” so check the soundcloud below for his drum ‘n’bass take on “solstice.”

up above is one two remixes on the a-side of battles’ record store day album gloss drop 4, the other being “ice cream” by gang gang dance and a b-side of my “machines” by pat mahoney of lcd soundsystem fame.

what was expected to be one of the last songs chosen to cover became the second and best dressed. check out young the giant’s breezy cover of r. kelly’s “ignition (remix)” complete with fur coats. bonus notice: lead singer sameer gadhia knows the song by heart, as it should be for any kells song.
