watch: dj khaled – no new friends [feat. drake, rick ross and lil wayne]
the 90s throwback vibe is very necessary here, especially when you realize the dada outfit is alive and well.

dj khaled
saw his first HUGE (like 11 weeks at #1 huge) hit when he put drake, ross and wayne on a track. and considering khaled’s mindset, if he puts all three on the same track again, we’re bound to see some of the same success. and one flex premiere and a CDQ drop later, we have one of the two new tracks drake promised this week.
and wow, wayne needs to quit rapping forever.

rick ross has been under some heat lately for his lyrics in “UOENO” so i guess it’s a perfect time to apologize and then quickly drop the video for his “bitch don’t kill my vibe” freestyle. ross has a great PR team behind him, huh?

mr. legend’s new album is shaping up rather nicely and very quickly, isn’t it? after “the beginning,” comes a collaboration between two artists who’ve seen incredible success on tracks like “magnificent” and “free mason,” and this time, it’s ross paying the favor. smooth, soulful and very john legend.

I GOT THAT JUSTIN BIEBER PLZ BELIEVE IT is still one of my favorite lyrics of last year, due to its sheer “wtf” factor. anyway, hit the las vegas strip with the maybach music men and shit.

wale drops a video from folarin, but more importantly, announces a new LP in the video below the jump. plans are starting for his next LP, the gifted, (tentatively out june 25th) while we wait on the seinfeld tape.

riri throws a bunch of trap rappers on a song that basically set off the notion that females could hold their own in such an arena. solid remix for a great track.

pusha t puts together a music video for his new wrath of single in the only way he knows how: gritty instagram type filters, cocaine personas and bad video Bs to boot.
grab wrath of caine if you haven’t already.

rozay and stalley follow up their freestyle to “love sosa” with one over ASAP’s latest single, one that recently went platinum.

it’s never a bad thing when spitta and wiz link up on a track. i mean shit, i’m still waiting on live in concert and enjoy the hell out of how fly. anyway, currensy is dropping his new mixtape, new jet city, on superbowl sunday, so sit tight for that and enjoy “choosin” (lex luger produced it, btdubs) for now.

not but 24 hours after being shot at, ricky ross takes to the only outlet he knows and spits off a few barbs about his recent “health troubles.” glad you’re alive, sir.

looks like rick ross might actually be sitting in some heat, huh? no pun intended for the miami team, but late last night/early this morning, rick ross’ rolls royce (he was confirmed to be inside) was targeted by drive-by shooters. thankfully, rozay is okay, but it’s hard not to think about that whole gangsters disciples “threat to livelihood, isn’t it?
