shad wanted to give his fans something for christmas, apparently. throughout the course of the year, he’s done a handful of one-offs and guest verses, which he’s compiled here in a 25 minute mix.

always good to hear new music from shad, who joined forces with frank dukes for a collaborative track due to be released on a compilation record (from canada – ew) called the new north. peep the unofficial clip above and download the track below.

pretty sure most of you d-bags slept on shadrach last year. watch the clip, pick up last year’s TSOL and spin the eff out of it. lovin’ the positivity of this track. it’s just what i (and i’m sure many others) need in their daily lives.

my man shadrach is still running on fumes from TSOL, his fantastic 2010 record. he hit up the fine german folks of juice magazine for an interview after having recently released his record there.

never thought i’d see this collaboration. two of canada’s (see: one of the few) finest acts link up together and create a superb cut. there’s no further info on when this will be released or where, but for now, enjoy this visual of a record spinning.

an unlikely combination, for sure. two members of the highly underrated tanya morgan hop on the canadian phenom’s single from TSOL. if you haven’t gotten on shad’s latest album, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice.

if this video isn’t enough to sell you on tsol, i’m not sure what will. you might have a seizure though.

canada’s shadrach/shad has built quite the reputation as of late. after spending the entire 2009 summer playing for retard mallrats at the warped tour, he’s built a following in unlikely places. despite his new fanbase, he’s maintained his initial sensibility of steppin’ up to mics and kickin’ the shit out of em. if you hadn’t heard em already, 2005′s when this is over and 07′s the old prince are both excellent records in their own right, and i’m sure his third LP, TSOL, is no different. spinner got first dibs on the venture, but their site has done a nice little feature on the record. instead of the mundane LP stream, each track is accompanied by a topical breakdown with a piece by shad on each song. a great way to waste an hour at work, folks.
and watch the video for ‘yaa i get it’ here, in case you missed it.

it’s about time people are catching up on shad. you definitely got the heads up from yours truly on ol’ boy. shadrach beasts on the mic on this one. the beat is huge, and the visuals are correct. shad’s new album, tsol, drops may 25th. look out america.
