here we go magic take a hand at transforming local natives’ harmonious, pan-ethnic “sun hands” into an ethereal electronic piece. let’s pour one out for the houston weworemasks staff as they’re going to miss the natives this tuesday in lieu of vampire weekend.

local natives – sun hands (here we go magic remix)
the wwm vs. sxsw video invasion continues, better late than never, with this installment featuring los angeles natives, local natives. filmed at stubb’s indoor stage during the the rachael ray day party, the local natives played to a packed house and more than won over a whole slew of new fans as well as made the wwm bears very happy, not that the free food and drinks weren’t doing their part. easily one of the most impressive sets we’d see all sxsw.
be sure to check out grizzly’s coverage of last weekend’s local natives show here in houston. check that link hereas well as the additional local natives live videos after the jump.
i wish i could sing in three part harmonies. by myself.
newly signed to frenchkiss, l.a.’s local natives are set to release their debut album gorilla manor 2/16. but the crazy uk has had the album for sometime now, meaning that while you’re sitting here listening to the somehow tribal track “sun hands”, our friends across the pond have moved on to something else. like the new yeasayer. o wait, is that old news now too?
