the game – murder [feat. scarface & kendrick lamar] (2012)

seems like all of these sunday services had a theme going – a lack of clearance for the sample kept them from showing up on game’s new album, jesus piece, which is out tomorrow. aside from the ‘real’ tracklisting pictured in the album’s art, i can assure you that this track’s lineup definitely delivers. face makes a more-than-worthwhile cameo while kendrick takes the reigns on the hook.

the game – rollin [feat. kanye west, trae the truth, paul wall, slim thug and z-ro] (2012)

what a look for houston, huh? for today’s “sunday service,” game serves up another jesus piece throwaway. don’t take it the wrong way, the samples couldn’t get cleared in time. but he gets yeezy for a big time feature, and strings along some of houston’s finest. where the hell is uncle bun?

video: game – celebration [remix; feat. bone thugs n harmony] (2012)

the progression of this song is fairly simple. the original track samples bone. the remix features bone. so go on and watch the completion of that trifecta, the music video. and for bonus shits and giggles, stream game’s new track with wale, “stripper.”

the game – jesus piece [artwork & tracklisting] (2012)

so game’s R.E.D. album was a huge disappointment. we know that. outside of a few tracks, it wasn’t even worth a release. but the tracklisting for jesus piece shows a lot of promise. not for any other reason than some of these features. i mean kanye, common, pusha t are givens. but throw in young guns j. cole and kendrick lamar? this is an all star lineup. jesus piece drops dec. 11th. hit the jump to watch a performance of “the city” with kendrick lamar in phoenix, as well as the alternate artwork for the album.

the game – celebration [remix; feat. bone thugs n harmony] (2012)

since this song was already a bone tribute in disguise, why not embrace the internet’s comments and get the cleveland fellas on the track? looks like game will be releasing this as a part of a new “sunday service” series, in which you’ll see a new jam every sunday.

and it also looks like he’s announced december 11th as the release date for jesus piece.

video: the game – celebration [feat. chris brown, wiz khalifa, tyga & lil wayne] (2012)

the bone thugs-inspired “celebration” gets a nothing but a g thang-inspired music video to go along with it. a sunny day in the park is the landscape, and they couldn’t have gotten the visuals down any better. this is probably the most entertaining track game’s been a part of in a long time, so soak it in.

game – celebration [feat. chris brown, tyga, wiz khalifa & lil wayne] (2012)

it’s been a while since i’ve heard a real west coast barnburner (ok, so i’m not using that properly here). but join a super star-studded cast for the official CDQ to game’s lead single from his forthcoming album, the dispensary. y’all miss bone thugs? this one will fill that void for 5 minutes. well – at least the instrumental and hook will.

stream: warren g – party we will throw now! [f. game and nate dogg] (2012)

i’m as confused as you. west coast’s finest, including a posthumous appearance by nate dogg, link up on this excellent, sweet ass track from the original regulator. if you can stomach the dj skee drops, listen at his site. otherwise, wait till the CDQ drops, cause we all know dj skee is an asshole of a dj.

mixtape: the game – california republic [NO DJ] (2012)

and just as soon as it got announced, the game’s brand new mixtape drops. with skee’s name attached to it, i can pretty much guarantee i won’t download this until the “no dj” surfaces. hit the jump for the tracklisting and see ya when it’s a no DJ!

WELL THAT WAS QUICK!

the game – martians vs. goblins [f. tyler the creator and lil wayne] + good girl gone bad [f. drake] (2011)

so i’m sure these were two of the most sought out for features from game’s upcoming album. i gotta say, i hate seeing these established emcees hop on tyler’s nuts and cater their songs to sound “dark” and shit. martians vs. goblins is a throwaway outside of wayne saying “bitch i’m a muthafuckin martian,” as it’s game doing his best tyler impression, and tyler doing his best tyler impression. good girl gone bad’s got a soul sample – which is a good start, as it culminates in excellent verses from both camps.

also – game, STOP TALKIN SHIT ABOUT THE BASED GOD.
