video: clipse – life change [f. pharrell and kenna] (2010)

[vodpod id=Video.5038409&w=425&h=350&fv=sid%3DMTV_Videos%26amp%3BconfigParams%3Dinstance%253Dmtv%2526vid%253D602862%2526id%253D1518072%26amp%3BautoPlay%3Dfalse]

just when you thought the pusha t solo run was gaining so much (too much?) momentum, the clipse drop a video, just so you ain’t forget that they dropped a HEATER last year. “life change” wasn’t exactly my favorite song, as i would’ve much rather seen a video for “showing out,” but hey-i’ll take it. YUCGH.

clipse – showin’ out (original version) [f. lloyd and yo gotti] (2010)

this song was easily one of my favorites on till the casket drops. this one has lloyd on the hook and was the original version. guess they realized it was weak as shit (which it clearly is) and decided to stick with skateboard p instead. good call, but it’s worth checking out anyhow.

video: clipse + the roots – grindin’ + popular demand [live on jimmy fallon] (2010)

[vodpod id=ExternalVideo.914010&w=425&h=350&fv=]

lawd save us all. i couldn’t decide which performance was better, and no shots at black thought, but this version of grindin’ (online exclusive, mind you) rules. clipse + the roots join forces and jam a classic for the crowd, and below the cut, thought spits his own 16 bars on a live version of “popular demand.”

video: the clipse sheds light on till the casket drops + howard homecoming (2009)

this record is nasty. “freedom” is probably one of the best songs the group will ever write. pick up the album on december 8th and support the boys. up top is a clip from their homecoming show at howard university, and down under the cut is pusha and malice talking about the album for a bit.

clipse – popular demand [popeye's] f. pharrell and cam’ron (2009)

for anyone who has been feeling a bit underwhelmed by the new clipse material, it’s time for that foot to go in your mouth. this song is a hell hath no fury type of ill. with the neptunes behind the boards, killa cam, and the brothers thornton all goin’ off in their verses, i can’t imagine playing this song at any other volume than ’11.’

video: till the casket drops…(2009)

remember when you were expecting this record back in february? then in march? june? august? september? november?

well, the date has been set for december 8th…for now. pusha reminds us that it’s not a clipse album without pushbacks. clipse might have to make your end of the year lists very late.

clipse – i’m good f. pharrell (2009)

was definitely not expecting another clipse leak today. thanks to complex magazine, we now have the second single from the duo, featuring pharrell and production by the neptunes. artwork by kaws once again.

ya’ll are about to bump the shit out of this song.

clipse on myspace.

video: clipse – interview with vimby (2009)

the brothers thornton sit down with vimby for an interview. all leading up to till the casket drops. this early promo run is definitely a good call on their part.

edit: i have no clue why it’s cutting off and looks like complete ass. the dimensions are just fine. ah well, deal with. just hoping jerome doesn’t shit his pants over it.
