it must be tough being in a crew with kendrick lamar and schoolboy q. not only do those two have huge buzz, but they’re now opening for wiz khalifa and mac miller on a huge nationwide tour. but sure enough, top dawg’s underdog is carving his own lane, in his brand new single. his album, control system, drops may 11th.

congratulations to kendrick lamar, schoolboy q and the rest of top dawg entertainment – it seems the group signed a packaged deal that will be in conjunction with interscope and aftermath. after kendrick lamar took the entire rap community by storm in 2011 with section.80, i’m not the least bit surprised. likewise, q has been turning heads himself with habits & contradictions.
kendrick’s next album will be a major label release.
