more parody than anything, though the manner in which he directs the crowd to sing “l’chaim” seems purely sincere, wilco frontman jeff tweedy spreads some lyric sheets, sets a capo, and covers the black eyed peas’ immortal party-anthem “i gotta feeling.”

jeff tweedy took a break from a st. louis magazine photoshoot at the peabody opera house to sit in the empty seats and perform this new wilco song from the band’s upcoming album the whole love, due out september 27th. he also apologizes for making ‘guitar faces’ when the st. louis mag photog decided that this was a prime moment to shoot.
